Funding and Support
To further develop our programs, offer training and sustain our current level of activity we are seeking contributions from community partners of in-kind contributions, monetary grants and individual cash donations. All donations over $25.00 will receive a tax receipt in December 2011.
Financial contributions to our organization will be used to:
- Provide mothers with access to a weekly peer support group
- Offer training opportunities for new volunteer coaches
- Support coaches to engage with mothers and support their children
- Provide mothers with access to alternative and healthy choices that benefit the children
- Assist development of our social enterprise initiative

Addiction Recovery Coach of Canada Society was incorporated as a not-for-profit society in January 2011 and we are currently waiting for charitable status with Revenue Canada.
Funding to date has been provided by: Public Safety Canada and Lex Reynolds Adoption & Permanency Trust Fund. We have also received generous in-kind support from our volunteer coaches, speakers and staff at Vancouver Island Health Authority, Access Midwifery, AA and other not for profit organizations including South Island Dispute Resolution Centre Society and Saanich Neighbourhood Place.
