Addiction Recovery Coach of Canada Society

Our Purpose

Our programs provide a no barriers access approach to women and their children to connect them with services in their community.

Research Shows that mothers with mental health and addiction issues who live in poverty often do not access supports out of fear their children will be taken from them.  Consequently women try to manage their addiction and parenting in isolation.

These mothers, when not supported, often have repeat pregnancies with multiple children apprehended and placed in foster care.

This is a serious problem with horrific financial and social implications.  The most alarming consequences are those that affect the children.

In order to intercept this cycle of dysfunction, we believe it is important to provide a continuum of service and support.

Supporting a mother IS in the best

interest of the child(ren)
